Is real estate innovation a false proposition? Under the background of the new technological dividend and the new blue ocean, is it possible for the entrepreneurial team and the innovative model of real estate to be well integrated? As far as the capital market is concerned, what do investors pay attention to?
At the theme forum of “Technological Change Drives Real Estate Innovation and Reform” jointly organized by Star Wing Space, a subsidiary of New Town Holdings, and Mingyuan Cloud Real Estate Innovation and Research Institute, Lv Jianwei, Dean of JD Institute of Technology, Yang Bo, General Manager of New Town Development Cloud Cabinet Network, Future Domain Wang Yu, founder and CEO of (China), and Ma Jianwei, managing partner of Qizheng Fund, shared their views.
Lv Jianwei, Dean of JD Institute of Technology | Looking at technology from a neutral and cutting-edge perspective
1. Cloud Computing
The development of cloud in the world
Many people came into contact with cloud computing after 2010, but in fact, cloud computing has developed for a long time, including the most popular opensace technology, which is actually the core code from Kaiyuan Society of Radspace. However, Radspace used to be a virtual space. The so-called Wanwang in China has gradually developed into the Kaiyuan suite of the most popular opensace cloud technology since the 1990s. This is its beginning.
In 1998, VMVare was really created as a commercial company. When VMVare entered China in 2000, many people would not regard VMVare as a cloud computing manufacturer, but thought it was a virtual machine. We have used virtual machines for a long time, so why did they become clouds? ?
Cloud computing has always had two branches in the entire industry. One is to form N servers into a virtual powerful host, which is a cloud computing model called cloud host; the other is to cut powerful physical servers into N parts. It is virtualization technology. However, after the development of the industry for more than ten years, the use of virtualization to cut resources (the latter) has become the mainstream of cloud computing;
In 2010, it really opened up in the industry. In the past, VMVare had a large sales volume in China, but the threshold for using it was getting higher and higher. With the start of opensace the cost is reduce and the management is simplified. A set of components such as opensace has become the mainstream. Microsoft and IBM have all joined the big system of opensace. It seems that it is like a Kaiyuan community, anyone can submit code to opensace, so far, it is mainly controlled by IT giants like IBM. They have thousands of R & D personnel, specializing in the research and development of opensace. The interaction boundary between commercial software companies and Kaiyuan community is becoming more and more blurred. Kaiyuan technology is not only used in Internet companies, but even large central enterprises are also using opensace in large numbers.
Cloud Development in China
In 2009, China’s cloud computing really started. It is mark by two companies. One is Alibaba Cloud, which established and wrote the first line of code in 2009; calculate.
From 2011 to 2013, the development of cloud computing in China was particularly hot. During this period. Some startup companies appeared such as Qingyun Qiniu Kyushu etc. a large part of which is due to Shanda’s credit. Shanda Research Institute gathered a lot of great people. After these great people went out, they pushed cloud computing to a climax. For example, the person in charge of JD Cloud Computing went out from Shanda.
In 2016, China’s cloud really entered the climax. Baidu Cloud Computing, LeTV Cloud Computing, and Huawei Cloud Computing were officially opened to the industry this year. In the past, it was difficult for foreign-owned clouds to do business in China, and they had to cooperate with Chinese operators. In 2016, Soft Cloud cooperated with 21Vianet, Amazon cooperated with Xinwang, and all the big tech giants entered China. This is the status quo of cloud computing in China.
The following is the outlook of cloud in China, which can help us have some strategic grasp when purchasing cloud.
2017 was a year of price wars. In 2016, all the bigwigs have entered, how to complete the performance? The Chinese can only fight price wars. After the Spring Festival, AWAS, the world’s largest and most mature cloud computing company, said that it would reduce the price of mainstream cloud hosts by 15-33%, followed by a 30%-65% price reduction for all Microsoft Cloud products, and the price war began.
After the price war in 2018 the big guys began to not only provide the most basic cloud hosts. But also solutions for many industries. Now some cloud computing companies have achieved sales of more than 300 million yuan. By 2019 700 million 800 million or even 1 billion will not be a problem and they will become stable and mature cloud computing manufacturers.
